Hi, I'm Marcella. Mother of three, primary school teacher and former environmental scientist.

Izzy's Wonders began in 2017 as an instagram account to document the building and decorating of a dollhouse for my daughter, Izzy on her third birthday. I had so much fun building the dollhouse and found that keeping my hands busy helped to ease my anxiety. I began designing and creating my own range of modern dollhouse furniture and started to sell my creations.

Izzy's Wonders range of 1:12 scale miniatures is a collection of handmade and curated miniatures inspired by Scandinavian and Boho design. The handmade collection is designed and made by me in Sydney, Australia, using high quality materials and attention to detail. The curated collection of furniture and accessories are sourced from the world's leading dollhouse suppliers in the United Kingdom and United States. 

As a former environmental scientist, I am extremely conscious of ensuring that Izzy's Wonders is environmentally sustainable. The PLA (Polylactic Acid) used to make the 3D printed products is a plastic-like plant based material derived from renewable sources such as corn starch and sugar cane. The wood used in the laser-cut products is sourced from sustainably managed forests. Finally, the packaging used to protect and deliver your order, consists of biodegradable and/or compostable packing peanuts, cellophane and green bubble wrap. The cardboard packaging boxes are completely recyclable (and reusable).
